A surprisingly innovative sci fi titty movie
There's dumb and then there's DUMB. This falls into the latter category. The sequel to 1972's FLESH GORDON-A film that actually got nominated for a Hugo(!!!), but was beat out by Mel Brooks Young Frankenstein-This early 90s turkey stars no one, contains eye rolling, groan inducing obvious jokes; terrible acting, 5th grade level pee-pee-poo-poo humor and a whole lot of tanned, silicone stuffed body parts-WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE?!!? The real magic lies in the stop motion animation and model pieces: The spaceships, the anatomically correct King Kong and the giant lisping gay stereotype talking penis-One can tell a certain amount of love went into creating those and honestly, it makes all the difference. Hell, even the theme song is mildly catchy. Recommended to coinsures of the lowbrow, soft-core smut, sci fi and terrible jokes.
