Classic blood drenched 60s horror
Like an illegitimate child of Hammer films, Circus of Horrors is for it's time quite an explicit film, shot in vibrant Eastmancolour, it was a big success at the box office with Anton Diffring putting in a great over the top performance as the unhinged cosmetic surgeon who takes over a circus in post war Britain, populating the business with many criminals who he has altered their appearances and forcing them to stay put under threat of revelling their real identities. A real pleasure to watch and it's never looked better than in this Blu Ray restored edition.
