Franchise
I absolutely love the .hack// franchise, both the original and the G.U. trilogy. Having this game, the roots of MMOJRPG Simulation is amazing when I first played it. In all the games and anime, Bandai should've kept this game alive for console gaming and other things, even though it has some mobile games. The Original games and anime even Sword Art Online ain't got anything close on this franchise. I really hope Bandai and CC Corp make more future installments.

Finally got a chance to test out the game myself to make sure it was working alright and I’m happy to say that it is working! It’s in pretty good condition considering but I’m just glad it works. Cant wait to play through my childhood when I have the time.

Buy a Used PS2 to play this game on.
My son wanted this and other games from this series for Christmas in 2015. Finding it was not hard. But then I found there were different additions depending on where in the world you live. After finding this North American edition, I then found it would not play on a PS4. Luckily, used PS2 consoles are very cheap. So I bought one for about the same price as this game.

Got a coma in a MMO
The game that Sword Art Online got its ideas from. Trying to figure out why people are getting comas playing The World.

This game is phenomenal
I highly recommend it to anyone who is a JRPG connoisseur. I have a feeling that SAO was based off of this; the game takes place primarily in a video game (lul). Basically, your character gets into an MMO RPG and eventually realizes that in-game events start effecting real life events. The game play is button mash and slash, which is personally my favorite. If you're a turn based fan, I'd still recommend this game just for the time killing and amazing storyline.

Classic title, made by the creators of ghost in the shell, the art in this game is crazy.
