    Engaging Professor

    I have bought 15 Great Courses, and generally the professors are great. But the professor in this course is by far the best. Rather than talk from a lectern from a script, Professor Guelzo talks directly to you, with terrific facial expressions and using the words written by participants in the Constitutional Congress about their colleagues and decisions taken in the debates. We are taken step by step through the month's-long closed-door discussions as the Constitution is put together, with excellent vignettes of the key players and their differences, as the small states' representatives fight to protect their states' interests against those of the larger states, and proponents and adherents of slavery address how to count slaves in determining the size of states' representatives in ...
