Amazing animated detail, beautiful artistry
Viewers may not be animated movie fans, but this short ~45-minute romance movie is captivating for it's artistry. I had read that it had received many awards for animation, which motivated me to buy it. I watched it with family and alone eight times in the first two weeks of ownership. During and after watching it, my family talked about the lifelike details to raindrops, garden and city scenery, vivid colors, and shading attention to details to produce amazingly lifelike scenes. (Here is a hint: the hues, clouds, music, birds, shadows, and subtle sounds of life add emotional meanings without using "words".) Avoiding spoilers: My 14-year old granddaughter's comment about a portion of the plot and ending, which was about age differences of the people in the movie, gave us several minutes of discussions on teenager-to-adult emotions. Of the 10 shelves of DVD/Blu-Ray movies our family owns, most of them animated movies, "The Garden of Words" is ranked as one of the most realistic, beautiful, and one of the best purchases.

To say the least....
....this is the best animation I have ever seen and I am an animation nut!. Everything about this 45 minute film is superb and actually stunning. A beautiful story drawn and rendered by masters. Do not miss this one!

Visually stunning rain animation, am getting into Shinkai’s storytelling.
Within the first few frames, I was amazed at the quality of the animation, particularly the rain and water droplets as they land. The story line is unusual and borderline taboo, but it’s interesting how the main characters get to know some of the more intimate details about one another before getting to the more superficial stuff...Sort of a relationship developing in reverse. Both main characters are broken in their own way and help each other to “learn to walk” more normally. There are a lot of analogies here, but it’s worth the (short) ride. I also love how the characters have little Easter egg cameos in his other later films.

Great movie
If you want to finish a movie that has a well written plot and great graphics then you should watch this movie. Also expect to be feel emotions

Very good bootlegs
Top notch bootlegs, no one would be able to tell honestly. And o wouldn't have a problem with it if the movie didn't skip around.

Came when it was supposed to
Blu ray arrived on time, but the blu Ray for sure is a bootleg copy, cant complain though for the price
