Dick, this postmodern film boasts astonishingly rich art direction, juxtaposing ingenious technological gadgetry with yellowing photographs and fetishistic objets d'art as it touches on questions of time, memory, identity, and mortality. Scott's 1992 director's cut edition contains notable alterations, including the absence of Ford's narration, which significantly heightens the ambiguity of key moments in this stunning cinematic landmark.

fantastic film, decent collector's item
The film is amazing, vhs technology is terrible. This presentation is nostalgic as the mottled image and sound suit the movie well. Seeing something like this on tape compelled me to make a YouTube video comparing the tape shot by shot to the Blu-ray.

New old stock, still works, recommended
Brand spanking new widescreen copy of Blade Runner on VHS. What more can be said? I'm surprised this new old stock has held up as well as it has and I'm glad I'm able to give it new use...
