My Review
This product is very robust and well built. The filters inside the canister seem to be more than adequate to properly filter the water coming through it. It comes with more piping than was used in my application. It all fitted together so that there was no leaks. There is also plenty of rubber pipe allowing it to be stored underneath the aquarium inside a cabinet which supports the aquarium. Cascade 1000
Just recieved the package via ups. Didnt look beat up. The set up directions ate a liitle weird but not to confusing. Didn't come with a great biological filter media so I threw some fluval biomax in the top tray on top of the final filter floss. Setup was a breeze. I am amazed at how quiet this thing is. High quality filter.

Works great, comes with everything you need.
No problems. Impeller was a little louder than I thought it should be, but you can do a couple things to help quiet it. Usually it is from trapped air, so you can prime it and tip it from side to side to help release the air. Reliable filter
I have been using one for little over a year this is the second one for my aquarium is 150 gallons so I was needing a second one the one I've had is excellent very easy to clean hasn't leaked easy set up runs quietly compact size actually nice looking filter I tried it for the brand as I have a heater made my same company that is still working I use it for a back up and I have had it for 15 years so I thought I would try thier filter and glad I did the price is a bargain as I have seen these for sale at pet stores for 125 but dont let price fool you it is a very reliable filter comes with everything you need to get started right out of box I did add more filter media like bio balls and some of the ceramic pieces for more bio filtration but it does have what you need to get started I highly recommend this filter especially for price,reliability and easy set up took me 10 mins to set up and get going a+++Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

You can't go wrong with a Penn Plax filter! Gotta Love It!
I've been using Penn Plax Cascade filters for quite a few years. I've always been happy with how well they work and how easy they are to maintain. I just purchased a new 75 gallon tank and my 700 wasn't big enough any more. I was more than happy to get another, bigger one. I highly recommend this filter, it's a life saver for your fish!
