Grand Sport - Well Worth Building
This kit has been around for many years. It builds into a very accurate model of one of the original Grand Sport cars. Some additional work is required to fill the open frame casting but this is an easy task. Highly recommended!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

great tribute to the grand sport . make for a terrific model.
this is a high quality, authentically detailed kit of the grand sport genre of factory built, racing corvettes. fairly easy to build, but the photo-etched details can be tricky to work with if you aren't experienced with them. highly recomended to model builders who love corvettes.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Nice kit, but not for novice
I think these kits were molded by Hobby Boss (ROK) and mold quality is top notch. They build up to a beautiful result with patience and care. The frame rails require some time, as they were molded hollow on the bottom. I found that slow setting epoxy putty worked well. (Can't figure out why they didn't mold the hollow on top). The headers don't clear the bottom of the frame where they meet the exhaust dumps. You can grind away sections on the frame to make them work. On future builds of this I'm going to use solid core solder and form my own. Paint on this version is solid white and decals consist of numbers and sponsor stickers only, so finish will go fast after you work out the bugs with the build.
