Even in 2024 this remains the defacto end all be all of Nightmare Collector's edition releases. Worthy to be alongside the blu ray release, the time, effort, and care that went into presenting the nightmare series in the best possible way given the limitations of technology at the time. Highly recommended still some 25 years later!

What a Nightmare
Really loved rewatching the Nightmare series after 20 years. Got a great deal on a brand new box set. The only downside to this collection is there are no "real" special features on each disc. Six actors bios from IMDB really is not a "special feature". The positives are the cases are of the original artwork when the movie debuted. I love that. There is an extra special disc, but takes a lot of time and patience to go through. Mainly just clips of :30 secs or so. Some of the clips take me back to the "REAL" MTv days of the 80s. Overall, if you can find this collection at a great deal, I would recommend picking it up. Normally I would go for the Blu-ray versions, but glad I got this one. It is highly recommended.

arrived fine but cant see where the hockey mask is worn by the killer in these films? heard it;s not till the 3rd part but the pic's on cover are some guy with a weird face and anyways I watched 2 so far and was told the hockey mask doesn't apear til the 3rd film? cant' wait? and I think thats when they go to the woods right? right now all char, in these are on some street for some reason? well anywho? good job, would buy again? if you had one? dont know what I am watch, but it's cool? thanks

My favorite series
NOES is my favorites slasher series because of just how creative the dream world can get, Freddy is one of the best slashers right next to Jason. You can connect with most of the characters in each movie, yeah it can get goofy towards each movie but that’s just part of the charm for me

Pnoyride's Basic Review!
This movie is one of the scariest film of all time..Can you imagined that when you go to sleep someone or something wants to kill you and you don't wakes up...this movie is one of a kind..Scary as hell ..until now gives me the creeps..but overall this movie is Awesome and is watchable not like the other movies that you can only watch it one time..I will recommend this movie to everyone who's scary addict and specially likes to be scared even in asleep..lol.Enjoy your Movie!

Awesome Nightmares!
It was delivered in a timely manner, especially in the times were going through. The product was packaged in a excellent professional manner! The actual product case for the movies were still vibrant and popped! All movies worked without a glitch! 5 ☆ rating for all!

1,2 Freddy’s Coming For You
This a PERFECT collection if you’re a true Freddy fan! The collection cover (front & back) contain a 3-D effect that is not seen in the item picture as well as all 7 original movies that together form an image of Freddy himself. I HIGHLY recommend!!

Very disappointed
I hate writing bad reviews but this one really let me down… I got this collection more so for the purposes of displaying the box on my shelf as I already owned all of the movies on Blu-ray… but the box was delivered in poor condition with dents and sticker residue on it. I was hoping that it would’ve been in much better condition as basically I wasted my money. I’m sure the DVDs all play but that’s not what I got it for.
