Thyis book will change your life!
Reading the daily devotional morning and evening readings and Bible passage references for each has given me a new level of understanding of my faith and my relationship with God. I bought this copy because I gave my 3 year old copy to a friend whom I think will benefit from reading it and using it as a key to reading the Bible. "Jesus Calling" so very comforting.
In each of these devotionals you can tell the author has a wonderful relationship with the Lord, it comes through in her writing beautifully! Reading the morning devotional is a great way to start the day! Reminders of the precious promises of The Lord! Best Devotional Book I Have Read
This devotional book is different from any other I have read. The book is written in the first person as though Christ is speaking directly to you. His words are based on scripture, and often a direct quote from the Bible is in italic type. Several scripture references are given for each devotion to give proof that what He is saying is true to the Word. I also appreciate that there is a devotion to start the day as well as one to end. The morning devotion is usually a bit longer and more thought-provoking than the the evening devotion. I have found this book to be an immense help to me in my Christian walk. Somehow, when I envision Him speaking directly to me, the words take on a greater meaning and increase my understanding of living a more Christ-like life. Jesus Calling
This is a wonderful tool to have. It is an excellent daily reminder of how much the Lord loves and cares about each and everyone of us. It is so encouraging and helps you to stay focused on the Lord each and everyday. It has changed my whole life. Yay!!
I really do like waking up to this each morning. Having trouble remembering to do the evening one before bed but that is my fault not the books. I keep my bible nearby to look up the verses as others have observed they are not printed inside. Love notes from Jesus.
I bought this particular book to give as a gift. I’m reading my personal copy for the second time. It amazes me how many entries speak into my life. Although the Holy Spirit frequently uses this devotional to convict my heart he does so in a way that I can sense Jesus lovingly correcting me.
