teriffic sound quality
This sock hop set is very good. cd's are easy to extract from the cases, the track selection is very good, but most of all, the sound is of excellent quality, very enjoyable to listen to. Surprisingly no frankie avalon stuff on it, bobby sox to stockings? Rock around the clock? etc

poor quality
Having listened to the entire collection a couple times I have to say I am disappointed with the quality of the music. I would estimate at least ten tracks are garbage. The music seems to speed up and slow down, far from the natural pace they were originally played at. I've listened to them twice to ensure it was not my player, and happened to the same tunes. I also put other CD's into the player to see if the problem would occur on known good CD's and it did not.... nothing to blame but the new CD's.

Bad Quality
EVERY disc had one track that stopped or acted like it had been put in fast play mode. Tried them on other players and got the same thing. DO NOT play these on a carousel until you are certain they play correctly. Mine is toast now from trying to play past the bad tracks because it overheated when the discs started mistracking.

Not usable in the main
One disc was cracked - five locked up when I attempted to put the music on my computer, I bought one order here in the United States and after one bad lot I decided to order from China. The second lot was exactly the same.

the 60's songs are great, but at least 12 songs stopped before they were finished.
