Director Alfonso Cuaron's Gravity stars Sandra Bullock as Dr. Ryan Stone, a scientist on a space shuttle mission headed by astronaut Matt Kowalsky (George Clooney), a talkative, charismatic leader full of colorful stories that he shares with his crewmates as well as mission control. As the two are on a space walk, debris hits the area where they are working, and soon the pair finds themselves detached from their ship and stranded in space. While figuring out what steps they can take to save themselves, Stone grapples with a painful past that makes her consider giving up altogether.

    worth watching in 3D

    I watched this for the first time in 3D. It gave the visual immpression of being in in a gravity free environment. Most of the time it was fairly impressive. But some of the physics seemed incongruous. For those of us that have an understanding of physics, it appears to break the those physical laws. For example when george Clooney disconnects his cord hook from Sandra Bullock and drifts away, as if pulled by gravity, when clearly, there is no gravity. I am giving this 4 stars for an impressive and unique cinematic experience. No way does it desrve five stars due to the technical errors. Well worth watching though, probably even in 2D.

    3d demo material

    Gravity + OLED 3d = stunning! On an oled TV with solid blacks, zero crosstalk and through a good Home Cinema system this film is 1st class demo material. Okay so the film gets a bit silly at times but the way the sound track engages you, and the immersive 3d pulls you in, makes for a great watch

    Out of this World

    I have an outstanding film collection on DVD/Blu-Ray/Blu-Ray 3D and this is another film added to the collection. Great story line, special effects is utterly amazing in 3D if you have a 3D TV & 3D player.
