A Kind Book
I discovered Shirley Hughes' glorious stories in 1988 when I bought 'Lucy & Tom's Christmas' for our three year old. Another daughter & five grandchildren later her books have their own shelves in our home; they are my go to for bedtime stories, rainy afternoons & when calming a fractious toddler.
