METALLICA'S BEST EVER !!!
SORRY TO ALL METALLICA HATERS!! I HAVE LISTENED TO THIS 3-CD SET ABOUT 100 TIMES. I AM OLD SCHOOL, AND BOUGHT IT MAINLY FOR DISC #3. DID YOU NOTICE, 4 OF THEIR OLD SONGS WERE CO-WROTE BY DAVE MUSTAINE? YES, HE WAS WITH THE ORIGINAL BAND. I LOVE EVERY SONG ON DISC 3. WHO WOULDN'T, MOST ARE FROM FIRST 2 ALBUMS- KILL 'EM ALL, AND RIDE THE LIGHTNING!! THEY PROVED THEY CAN STILL DO IT, OLD SCHOOL. THEN I LISTENED TO DISC 1, AND 2. I COULD NOT BELIEVE MY EARS. MOST OF THEIR ALBUMS HAVE 2, OR 3 HITS, THEN MOSTLY FILLER SONGS. AFTER 100 TRIES, I STILL CAN'T FIND THE FILLER SONGS!! I GUESS THE WORST 2 ARE, AM I SAVAGE, AND MANUNKIND, BUT I LIKE THEM BOTH. DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I'M SAYING? IN MY OPINION, THIS IS METALLICA'S BEST EVER!! YES, I SAID IT. I'VE WAITED 25 YEARS FOR THIS. THANKS FOR TAKING YOUR TIME ON THIS ONE. JAMES STILL HAS A SENSE OF HUMOR. I ALWAYS BURN MY CD'S FOR MY CAR. THE FIRST 2 FIT ON 1 DISC, BUT DISC 3, IT WAS 3 SECONDS SHORT OF FITTING, VERY FUNNY. HERE'S SOME FREE ADVICE JAMES- YOU STARTED WITH 2 GREAT ALBUMS. THIS ONE IS GREAT, HOW ABOUT YOU GET DAVE BACK, MAYBE BRING HIS DRUMMER (2 SOUNDS GREAT) AND GO OUT IN STYLE. 3,OR 4 NEW SONGS, 10 OF MEGADEATH'S BEST, AND 20 OF METALLICA'S BEST. WOW, YOU WOULD SELL MILLIONS, DO A GREAT TOUR, AND MAKE UP WITH DAVE, YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO!! PLEASE DON'T LET ME SEE AXLE ROSE SINGING YOUR SONGS FROM A WHEELCHAIR!! Metallica at their best!
Metallica just keeps getting better throughout the years. EVERY song in this CD ROCKS! Hardwired, Now That We're Dead, Halo On Fire, Spit Out The Bone, Murder One, Am I Savage, etc. If you're a Metallica fan, you MUST add this album to your collection. This is a Five Star album. Hardwired 2 Self Dedtruct cd
I waited to order the cd till it was released officially.☺I know how the delivery system works.I been studying alot of old metal.So I wanted to preserve my METALLICA time.I ordered cd the release date and took about a week.I only heard second side cuz Spot out the bone was on that side.I heard Nets new album first time in my car on the coast in the rain.The gods finally gave Us Socali Natives some rain!I enjoyed my frst New Met cd listening experiance under the Storm.The other songs will grow on me,But-I really like Hardwired(live version)best James screams that shit sick Live!But HardWired,Moth & Spit are my favorites!I'm glad they released those tunes first,they realed me in!Killer c.d.!!🌣🌪🌤🌥🌦🌫🌬🌧⛆☺🖒👊🙋✌Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Low expectations with pleasant suprises.
I'm an older metal head (48) and a long time fan from their first offering and to me Metallica just wasn't the same after Master of Puppets and I stopped listening all together after Load. Having said that, I took a chance on Death Metallic and Hardwired with very pleasant surprises. To these ears they both sounded more like the Metallica of old, with more mature playing and arrangements without being overly produced with some songs running longer (which is, for me, a good thing) without being too complicated or running too long (even better). The sounds have a nice balance of being thick and heavy without being too sludgy or muffled. They both sounded great and for the first time in a looooong time I am giving a new (to me) Metallica disk a second and third listen.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Great but too little material
Sounds like old school Metallica but dont be fooled with "free 2nd extra disc" bs. Both discs together arent as long as 1 normal disc the used to put out. Other bands put way more on their cd's. Hardwired is a great album!
I think Metallica's new album is the best music they have put out in the last 20 years. Not sence justice for all has there been a album this heavy.
