JOBY GorillaPod Zoom with Ball Head

Love this little tripod.
I love this little tripod. I bought it to take on my bicycle touring to shoot stills and video with my Olympus Tough camera. It works great and is very efficient. I can mount the camera easily and it adjusts with the head in seconds and holds the camera very firmly. It can mount to flat surfaces and small poles and whatever you can wrap the legs around to hold it or wherever you can set it on. I also carry a bit of rope so that I can mount it against a large tree or telephone pole etc. just to get it off the ground angle. I give it four stars because you end up using it at ground level for the most part which can become a tiring angle to use. Also if you bend the legs too much they tend to pop out of each other. Worth it
After considering other cheaper designs, I decided to go with Joby. I really didn't want my camera falling to the ground so I decided to use a product that is a little more expensive but is worth every cent. The ball head is really smooth and easy to adjust. Arrived the day I needed it!
I was so surprised when this came in the mail Saturday morning. I had a big party to attend and I was the main photographer. This tripod is so sturdy and I like the bulky feel to It! Cool little tripod.
Much better than the old vintage bendy metal one i carried around in my backpack for 'emergency' use. Overall great tripod. A bit pricey but completely worth it
This tripod overall is great. The cost is a little steep but it worth it completely. I cannot say how it preforms with a heavy camera but I'm sure it will do fine. The legs are stiff and feel quality made compared to the cheap 5 and 10 dollar mini tripods I have bought in the past. I use this with a square jellyfish cell phone mount I purchased separately to use as a tripod for my cell phone and it works great. Awesome little tripod and extremely portable.
You can configure this thing anyway you want. I love the flexible legs that can wrap around objects. This little tripod is perfect for my Olympus OMD EM-1 Mark II camera with the kit lens.

great flexible tripod for flexible uses
