Described as a complete reinvention of the series by Alex Ward from Criterion Games, Burnout 5 boasts next-generation technology that specializes in creating explosive crashes, and multi-car pile-ups. Gamers cruise into Paradise City after getting a driving license that records all aggressive, reckless, and destructive driving a player will do during their time with the game. There are no rules and gamers may drive as they wish. However, having too much fun can trigger a rivalry with the cities current top burners. The environment itself is a seamless, non-loading landscape full of alleys, highways, city streets, pedestrians, and other drivers.

    Buyer's Beware! Two issues: 1) Seller took over 35 days to ship item 2) Item didn't match pictures at all. Listing pictures show a nice clean Wii case and cover art. The game case I received had many stickers on it and case is beat up. I suspect the Seller didn't have the item on hand, and after hitting enough thrift shops or garage sales, the Seller located the item and was finally able to ship it to me. Buyer's Beware!

    Best car game for kids

    Best car game for kids. If you like jumps, crashing, and racing. Then tis is for you. The music is awesome and the road map is large. I know its an old game, but it never gets old.

    Still Holds up over time.

    Given that this title was recently added to xbox ones backwards compatibility,coupled with the fact that much of the console DLC never made it to the PC edtion,I had to buy this game and see how it held up. and I must say it still holds up over time. the road rages are still very fun and the DLC Island packs and other car packs make for a pretty compelling experience for a lot less then you'd pay for the modern equivelent. my one issue is what always plagued this title in that it made races a heck of a lot harder through the open world mechanic and I am not the only one who found themselves lossing races because they got lost or turned around. But given that Criterion is now on permanent Starwars Duty this may be the last of the great Burnout games. Burnout III Takedown may always be ...
