Fine re-tooled model molds turning out a fine crafted model . 5*****
This review is going to be 99% positive . Most of the parts are hole and pin assembly . The reworked molds are better and have finer detail than the original's . The decal sheet is crisp and has fine thin edges best for placement without seeing too much of the clear edges when placed . It comes with the Go-Kart and Go-Kart rack for the back of the bed . The racks are a little loose up against the inner bed edge , but otherwise a o.k. fit . Pre-fitting the parts I would suggest before final glueing . Fine detail in all the parts in the kit . There was a little extra plastic flash on the parts but nothing a quick flick of a hobby knife can't handle . The Plastic is semi-soft and easy to cut the parts from the part trees . There are a few more extra strengthening tabs to remove from the parts to be used than normal . The tires come with two white wall sides . A thin line on one side of the tire and a wide line on the reverse . This kit is your basic builder with only one complete set of stock rims , but if you have a parts box like I do , finding custom tires and rims wouldn't be a problem . The Go-Kart is about 2 1/4 inches long and about 1 1/4 inches wide . The instructions are easy to see and understand and go step-by-step . The only thing I would have liked to see in this kit is a second option in parts for lowering the truck a bit . I would recommend it to the semi- beginner and seasoned builder . I'm thinking of buying a second one .

be prepared to make adjustments model project!
it has a good tooling make up!,but there are many flues in the base point of just being a ho-hum run of the mill /weak stock beater!the infabled X type frame is the worst part of stock over the counter junk that has to be mostly gutted to make way for a real power plant! thank you very much i'll be here..

Same 60 chevy pick up truck
This model needs more options then just a go-kart. Custom parts, wheels, tires, engine accessories ect. Box art is excellent! Way too pricey for little or no options.

This Detailed Model Is A Piece Of History
This model is nicer than the box illustration shows. The classic pickup and race kart takes me back to the 60s when I raced a very similar machine. Both the truck and kart are well detailed and nicely finished from the maker. The decals are a nice bonus. Frank P.

Another re-pop pickup
Looked over the kit - it appears to be another AMT re-pop that I plan to build someday. I like the older, 60-70 year model pickups in part because that's what's available.
