It was packaged in a thin plastic mailer that had a slice in it when it arrived which would have allowed the pricy yarn to get dirty/damaged. I've used these mailers without incident for about 8 years now and have had only one other incident which was also recent. It sounds like I need to return to using the mailers I originally used.
