A collaboration between the powerhouse videogame development studio Level-5 and the beloved animation company Studio Ghibli, Ni no Kuni puts players in the role of a 13-year-old boy whose mother dies as a result of his actions. This, obviously, leaves the boy very sad. One day, a fairy appears before the boy and gives him a book which promises to lead him to the mysterious world of Ni no Kuni. In this world, which exists in a different time frame from the real world, the boy attempts to save his mother...The world of Ni no Kuni actually runs parallel to the real world. Artistic storytelling wrapped into the perfect, easiest JRPG I've played
A compelling story line told by a young boy named Oliver who is about to have his whole world turned upside down. Animated by Studio Ghibli and music by Joe Hisaishi, coupled with one of my favourite companies, Level-5 (who made the Dark Cloud/Dark Chronicles series) comes a story of growth, love, acceptance, and being the good essentially you need in the world. The only problem I ever had with this game was the audio during dialogue cutscenes. I would hear either nothing at all or it would sound as if it were very far away. I simply fixed this by going to my sound settings on my PS3 and unselected the first few options with Dolby sound. This is also a very good, almost brand new box of the Wizard's Edition for quite a good price. The box was slightly ripped on the side, but everything else was new. I was mostly looking forward to the IRL Wizard's Companion from the game and am truly impressed and pleased.

Worth the money
At first the cell shading and old school animated cut scenes put me off. However once I got into the game it held a surprising amount of depth and subtly. There are a lot of adult themes underneath the surface consisting of death, loss, and how one copes. Great find for my collection
Great value, amazing game I love the collaboration between Bandai and studio ghibli. Ni No Kuni is a fantastic game would recommend because it’s a real hidden gem for the PS3.
