Good old fashioned portable radio
The Panasonic RF-2400 has adequate reception on FM. I do not even need to raise the antenna for the powerful local stations. Unfortunately, in large cities many low power and translator stations have been squeezed in between the high power FMs. This radio can only bring those in if they are far enough on the dial from the strong stations. The AM section is very good. I get everything on AM in my area and at night can get many of the high power distant stations from several states away. The sound quality is also impressive for a radio this size. It is no "boom box" but quite pleasing for the kitchen or workroom.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Great product in a small package

Glad I bought it.
Great looking little radio with a quality feel to it. The dial is very easy to read. It picked up my favorite, very distant, very hard to get radio station with the antenna down, and with the antenna extended the sound was even better. Nice speaker quality. Best radio ever
I have bought many am/fm radios over the years. This radio picks up stations that I could never pick up before. My husband was loves this radio because it picks up his favorite station and it is so clear. Would recommend this radio for anyone looking for great a.m./fm radio. Bought this unit to help me find a break in my dog fence, haven’t found the break yet...The radio is solidly built, and I find myself using it when doing projects around the house, and on the property. Tuning stations in is straightforward, and the sound/volume is adequate. FM Antenna is quite long. Uses 4 AA batteries, which is convenient in my book. None of that 3 size C noise. Does the job!

Tuning, sound, portable!!!
