    Best OZ ever!

    I've been a fan of the Wizard of Oz book series for years and adored the 1939 movie. WICKED the play was also excellent, but THIS VERSION is the BEST ever! The story line fits in with both the books and the original movie. They did an excellent job matching the set designs to 1939 and yet taking it farther, including parts of OZ that only those who have read the books are aware of. I wore out my first copy of this DVD and had to buy another.

    A chill up my spine! Oz the Great and Powerful!!

    Personal background of the Great and Powerful Wizard of Oz, but younger, before and just after he landed in Oz. There are jealous adversaries that he has tried to con, who now seek revenge. A lack of real wizardly power forces him to 'innovate' with help from new aquaintences. Can his humanity and conscience find the integrity within? Will it grant him the power to save Oz from destruction? A charming, even heartwarming, journey thru beautiful lands.of wonderous fear and adventure.

    Good Deal

    My little girls have this book and after reading numerous times I decided they might dig watching the movie. So far we've watched it 3 times. Good price, product as described, glad I was able to find it at such a good price.

    Oz The Great And powerful DVD

    This is a great DVD. The movie is simply terrific. Children and Adults who are young at heart will thoroughly enjoy this reimagining of the classic 'Wizard of Oz'. The cast is superlative, the storyline is top notch and will easily enthrall the most imaginative of viewers. 5 Stars! Highly recommended!!
