Bright white and works well with stock housing
I had replaced the halogen type bulbs with LED bulbs previously. While those LEDs were “whiter”, they did not give the viability down road as the Holbein’s had. After some research , and viewing videos of testing, it seems that the placement of the individual LED is important so the light will interact most effectively with the reflectors in the headlight assembly. The Seacrest are positioned as such. These give a bright white light with excellent protection. I am very pleased with them this far. So Bright you can hear them
That good and bad thing... they put out excellent light, the housings didn't have to re re-aimed. The only complaint I have is the motors are noisy. You can hear them from the driver's seat when you turn on the headlights. A properly operating cooling system of this size should be quiet. These sound like some kid flew his drone under my hood. They were simple install, plug and play on 2010 Equinox, someone else wrote of trouble fitting them under a 2014 hi beam dust cover, which is the same as the 2010, but I had no problem at all, just make sure the wire is tucked out of the way. Bright Headlights at a Great Price!
Great bright headlights, installation was easy, only thing I would suggest is making it a little easier to tell the high beams from the low beams, I had to go back to the listing to see which part number was for the low beams and high beams. As I installed the first headlight it did not turn on I looked in the manual the manual stated that if the lights did not turn on to flip them around which I did and they worked perfectly. After fiddling with them for over an hour I experimentally/accidentally discovered that if you apply just a little bit of oil on the rubber rings (all around), then they go in smoothly. Great product, smooth transaction, fast shipping, would always recommend. Incorrect match
Listing said it was a perfect fit for my van. Turned out only a set of the low beams would fit so I'm stuck with a pair of high beams that can't be installed. Don't buy the combo. Sad story.
