intriguing
Well I am a fan of the trilogy of which this novel is the final chapter; so, one must read all three to receive the whole story. I was able to read them in "true" chronological order as opposed to release dates (like Star Wars).....this novel and its companions are fascinating to me in a way in which no other novels have ever been....and I read A LOT. It is a slow read because it is so intelligently written that if you do not take your time, you won't get it, you won't be able to follow the brilliance. I have patiently read well over 2000 pages of an ongoing story comprised of three books....a first for me....and I am about to start again, with all three. To read these three books is to live in a fascinating historical time as if you were there. To say I love this book and the two on either side of it is to misstate the truth.
