Best one so far
I’ve read Year One, The Man Who laughs, and now The long halloween I’m currently on the dark victory but The long Halloween has been the best story so far

What ever Batman story should aspire to be.
I can't believe I've waited this long to read this story. You can tell within the first few pages that the newest Batman movie as well as the Nolan-helmed trilogy derived so much from this storyline. The art is somehow both realistic and cartoon-esque simultaneously giving it a very distinct feel and quality. I've enjoyed every aspect of it. Worth of every penny. If you are a fan of Batman or of comic books in general, do yourself a favor and buy this collection.

Catch up before the movie comes out!
Confirmed that the new movie will be based on this story. Shows the more detective-y side of Batman and I am confident was 100% better than the movie will be. Recommended checking out before the film comes out!

This is a really good book, any Batman fan should read this and the sequel "Dark Victory"
