Absolutely essential.
The monobloc tap on our bathroom sink loosened itself and the nut was in a recess which was impossible to get at with a normal spanner ... I couldn't even guess the size, so needed a set of these tubular box spanners ... It turned out to be an 11mm nut but these box spanners were too short ... I was able to use another of the box spanners to tighten the 11mm one by thus doubling the length ... Anyway, the tap is now secure ... Job Done ... A fraction of the price that the plumber would have charged and I still have the box spanner set for any other jobs.

Box spanners
Item is great to work on my push bike, and other small jobs around the garage, haven't used to much yet, they feel good quality, and I will write l sometime later to let you know how they hold up .

Box spanner assessment.
These box spanner’s are not great quality. Average at best. The Tommy bar bent on first use. All I can say is, if you want to use these on a regular basis buy a much better brand like Facum or Snap on. If you just want them for a one off job then ok. They cost very little and you get what you pay for.

Box spanner tips
Great product - great for basin mono tap installs. Tip 1 - extend length by connecting 2 spanner’s Tip 2 - use a ratchet socket spanner on end to speed up operation in tight spaces

Functional box spanner set.
A cheap set of box spanners that will probably distort and slip if a large torque is applied. If you want a low cost solution to a problem, good enough, but not for a craftsman's tool kit. You get what you pay for, I have no complaints.

Good value box spanners
A good little set of box spanners. There were a few burrs that needed to be filed off, but this was only to be expected from pressed steel box spanners. Overall the spanners performed well, did the job they were purchased for and were good value for money.

Old fashion Box Spanners
Well made spanners with a long reach, good quality steel and an accurate fit. Supplied with a long solid tommy bar. Spanners are marked with their sizes, although not which end is which.

without them I would still have a bad tap in the kitchen
these are a super wrench that can be joined to-gether and lets you to have easy excess to work at the taps
