it sums it all up. how sometimes the human spirit can triumph against the greatest odds.
a truly good watch and inspiring. the characters were the right balance of good and evil and very well acted. this type of film can sometimes be difficult to script but the story line was again spot-on. the actual filming ,the sets, locations and historical awareness in all aspects was of the top order.

Well told true story
NIcely made film based on true story - sad in parts lacked pace compared to other films made these days but still a touching story well told and well acted.

Unbroken, is exactly right.
This is a replacement for one that I lent out. I will show it to family at Christmas. It's an amazing true story which every, one should watch, as it shows courage, determination and wonderful human spirit.

FASCINATING EPIC OF ONE MAN'S DETERMINATION TO SURVIVE
I think this is such an underrated movie. It is a 'slow burner' about how one man was determined to survive and endure the horrors of War. Superbly acted - the movie deserved far more accolades than it received.

True Story - Great Film
This film realy suprised me. I generaly hunt out true stories, but was a little hesitant with this being one set around World War II and a Japanese prisoner camp A out and out great film - very engaging, often harrowing and when you watch the extras, very humbling I doubt I would have been capabe of forgiveness Worthy of accolades !
