BEWARE the "Special Edition" DVD.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier is a great movie, but this post is not a review of the content of the movie; it's a warning about a dubious version. The DVD version, UPC 0786936842067, has a running time of 136 minutes. There is a "Special Edition" DVD, with a different cover, no UPC label and with a running time of only 128 minutes - 8 minutes short! Watch out for sellers that advertise UPC 0786936842067 at a bargain price but deliver the inferior "Special Edition" DVD.

GREAT GREAT GREAT!!!
Now this is how you follow up a great start up to the introduction of a super hero many didn't know about. The fight scenes and effects are soo realistic that it leaves you not breathing at times. Samuel Jackson has brought Nick Fury to life like only he could, perfect!. And I don't have to mention Scarlett cause Shes perfect for the Black Widow role as well.

Captain America "the Winter Soldier"
I missed this Captain America movie but just went and seen the latest movie. I must say seeing this film would have filled in the questions I had about the Captain America film just out. I like the Captain America films and so far I liked all of them. This Winter Soldier film was very good and I have full intentions of buying the latest DVD when it come out. If you liked the first Captain America movie you will like all of the Captain America films. I loved this one.

Adult Marvel?
Darker themed Marvel adventure which younger viewers probably think is also duller because of it. On the other end of that particular knot, adult viewers will feel the intrigue is hardly deep enough and is rather transparent. But for a superhero movie the acting is pretty good even though all the characters have the Disney stamp very much to the fore. But for its genre it is better than average and carries a 'Mission impossible' feel where the leads also get to wear their hardware. Sadly it is also a movie that fails to have any action scenes that reach the level of that particular franchise.

Out of this world.
An easy to follow film even for a first Marvel universe experience. Excellent special effects. Good acting overall. I'm relieved that Robert Redford did not attempt to fly. In one case I could not suspend disbelief: The almost-universal animosity towards Captain America was too sudden, and not sufficiently justified for me.

All action, great storyline!
Captain America: The Winter Soldier was an amazing movie! It started off with action & kept the action all the way through. Unexpected reunion with past friends but a necessary part of the movie. Great storyline!! Very well done. Ready for the sequel. :)

Captain America Review
This film is very entertaining, probably doesn't live up to the comics exactly as some fans may expect but it has a great story line and excellent graphics

Captain at it again, with company.
Wow, just - WOW! What a good movie. Plenty of action, intrigue - and even some romance for the ladies. If you haven’t watched it yet, but especially if you don’t own a copy - do yourself a favor and get this movie!

The Winter Soldier is a tragic character
Hadn’t seen it before now as I thought it wouldn’t be as interesting as some of the other movies. Boy was I wrong! Very good story to go with amazingly choreographed action scenes. Highly recommend watching it to follow Captain America and Bucky Barnes story arc.

For Marvel fans
For those who follow these movies, the plots usually intertwine somehow so it's good to have the sets to get the whole story.(Thor, Capt A, Avengers, etc.)
