“The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition” is a compilation of four of Nintendo's best "Zelda" games. This collection includes two games for the Nintendo Entertainment System and two games from the Nintendo 64. Each game is a faithful reproduction of the original game. The stories, enemies, and item placements are as you remember them. However, each game has received a minor facelift. While the graphics remain the same, each game now runs at a higher resolution. This higher resolution lets you see more detail than is possible on the original system. All four games are included on one single Nintendo GameCube disc. As an extra bonus, this GameCube title also includes a video retrospective feature. This GameCube video is a showcase of every title released up until 2003.Every game collector recognizes "The Legend of Zelda" for the NES. This software was the first "Legend of Zelda" title in the series, and it takes its rightful place in this edition. In "The Legend of Zelda," Link must find the pieces of the Triforce scattered across Hyrule. Once the Triforce is collected, he slays Ganon and save the day. "The Legend of Zelda" introduced many elements to the series that are still in use today. Every collector should play this title at least once, as it is a piece of gaming history."The Legend of Zelda II: The Adventure of Link" was the sequel and is also in this collector's edition. This title took a different approach from the previous one. Instead of a top-down view, this title is a side-scrolling action game. It also features more RPG elements than its predecessor. Once again, the princess has fallen to evil, and it is up to Link to rescue her. Evil forces seek to resurrect Ganon, and only our hero can stop them and save the princess. You fight all new villains, many of whom make appearances in later games such as "The Wind Waker.""The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" is an amazing entry in this franchise and one every collector should own. "Ocarina of Time" on the GameCube features a few small changes mostly related to the button prompts. This title has Link traveling back and forth between different time periods to stop Ganon once again. This edition of the title features smoother scrolling and faster loading than the original version. "The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask" was its direct sequel. This title used the same graphical engine but had a different gameplay twist. Instead of traveling to the future, Link now goes back three days into the past. This time travel gimmick adds new twists to the standard franchise formula. Link also wears different masks, and each mask bestows new powers upon him. "The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition" is one title every collector should own. All four of these games provide over 100 hours of gameplay. Newcomers to the world of Nintendo love this introduction to the classic franchise, and old fans of the franchise enjoy the trip down memory lane. The game is rated E for everyone, making it suitable for gamers of all ages and skill levels to add to their collection.

    The price offered for this game, one of SPI's rarer items, is the best I've found in a long time. The shipping price is appropriate and the game arrived within 72 hours after creation of the tracking number. The game was securely and adequately package to protect it from weather conditions, and all components were in excellent order as reported in the item description (neatly sorted, manuals and maps clean).

    Happy Childhood Memories Fulfilled!

    I and I’m sure others too have had crazy nostalgia during the pandemic... Pokémon has come back and this made me think of the good old days playing Nintendo 64! Time really does fly... The Legend of Zelda Majora’s Mask was always one of my favorite games! It’s a shame that this and Ocarina of Time are not available on Nintendo Switch. I’m almost certain that if you included the “Collector’s Edition” or even just Ocarina of Time/Majora’s Mask combo that it would be a huge hit! I have felt the same happiness playing this game now at almost age 30 as I did when I was 9. Thank you for providing me this awesome product! I highly recommend it! :)

    Pricy, but a must-own for fans

    This collection is quite pricy and the version of Majoras Mask that's present...it has problems. However, if you're a budget gamer like me and love compilations, you really can't go wrong if you're a fan of the franchise. LoZ 1 & 2, and LoZ OoT & MM are what's on the disc plus a demo of LoZ WW, but that particular game never did anything for me.

    Revisiting an old friend!

    The Legend of Zelda Collector's Edition for the GameCube give you a nostalgic feel. It's an amazing remake of the original for the N64, but on the smoother GameCube system! Gameplay is effortless and the graphics are enhanced! It is just plain fun to revisit these older games. They feel like new on the GameCube!

    Amazing!

    Came pretty quickly, I absolutely love ocarina of time and majora's mask! Very convenient that the disc includes four games instead of just one, along with a demo of windwaker! It also came in the original case, very good quality! The price was cheap compared to other sellers on eBay, Amazon, and gamestop.com!

    Excellent!

    I loved these games so much! I had it back in the day but I recently lost a bunch of my old GameCube games so I have to but them all again. This is such a great price for how many have are on one disc. No scratches on the disc, either. I highly recommend.
