    This seller has a 30-day return policy, message with no response. I could not open a return unless you contacted the seller. Message the seller...no response so I was unable to return the Amazon items sent. I wish I had known the seller sells Amazon items since I'm a Prime member. I would have ordered it directly from Amazon, at least I would not have had any issue with returning the item, unlike this seller. Bad, bad seller:(

    Works great with my 2 axle trailer!

    My Tekonsha 90160 got wet and was not working correctly. I found this on eBay. It came 'new in box'. I plugged it in place of my controller and it worked perfectly.

    Does the job, but with some weaknesses.

    The brake controller does what it is supposed to do, but it is susceptible to sudden failures. For example, if the disconnect switch on the trailer is activated while the brake controller is powered up, the brake controller will behave erratically. Although I have not opened the brake controller, it is my belief that the unit contains a microcontroller that can be adversely affected by sudden power fluctuations during operation. I have a spare unit that I carry any time I am towing...just in case.

    Great Product!

    Great product!!! Wife just retired and we bought a used travel trailer from a private party. Needed a brake control for my 06 Toyota Tundra. Found this one after reading reviews. Also ordered the vehicle specific connector. Simple plug and go! Followed the included directions on how to set things up and it works perfectly!!! Highly recommend! This may not be the top of the line product with all the bells and whistles but it does exactly what it is supposed to do and is easy to install and adjust.

    Solid controller; easy to install; works great.

    Installed and worked right as soon as I powered it up. Same/similar model to what I had in another vehicle and wanted to share the operational commonality. Also similar to what trailer rental places offer. So a well known model with a good reputation. Installation was easy; assuming you are familiar with basic car electrical work.

    Did not know what I was missing!

    For starters, I have towed equipment and trailers for the last 35 years. I've always used the old style traditional brake controllers with the knobs and dials on them and adjusted it where I wanted it for a given trailer. I am no stranger to towing. This was for my wife's 2016 4runner which she will be using to tow our small RV. I did not want for her to have to make any adjustments hence the reason why I went with the automatic one. Yesterday and today were the first days that we have towed with it. I am blown away! It is 100% perfectly seamless braking between the tow vehicle and the trailer. Cannot say enough good stuff about this controller. Will be converting my Dodge ram 2500 to one of these. 100% impressed without reservation.
