Informazioni sul prodotto
La prima edizione dell'Italia provvisoria viene pubblicata da Rizzoli nel 1947 e Guareschi, parlando della sua opera, scrive: "La trovata vera è quella di documentare la narrazione. Così mi tengo agganciato alla realtà e non falso neanche il futuro. Ho tutti i giornali della repubblica, i libri coi documenti". Si tratta dunque, come scrive Tatti Sanguineti in un saggio del 2008, di "un album del dopoguerra nel quale convivono racconti umoristico-satirici e polemico-sentimentali mescolati a ritagli di giornali vari, volantini di federazione di partito, inni di rivolta, fotomontaggi". Nel 1996, Beppe Severgnini cita proprio un pensiero tratto dall'Italia provvisoria: "Italiani, io vi esorto all'umorismo: chi non sa sorridere non sa regnare. Siamo seri, noi italiani. Siamo tanto seri che facciamo persino ridere", e conclude: "Chiunque abbia scritto qualcosa del genere è un genio".
