    A Disjointed Item

    Man In The Wilderness is the first treatment of what became The Revenant. It is a good film with European production values that contrast with the American story and some of the actors. It is a mixed bag much like the spaghetti westerns. The Deadly Trackers is an incomplete film with still frames inserted on top of recorded dialogue and music for the first part of the film. It is a slide show during that part of the film, not a video. The original film is obviously not available to the folks who put together this package. It is a type of restoration but the rest of the film is not worth the frustration of the first portion of the viewing. Buyers who want a copy of Man In The Wilderness will be satisfied but anyone hoping for a copy of the Deadly Trackers will be disappointed and ...

    Review

    The Deadly Trackers was a bit too much '70's peace vs revenge, but entertaining none the less. The Man in the Wilderness was equal to if not better than The Renevant.

    70's Western

    An earlier version of a movie currently in theaters "The Revenant". You can see the differences in movie-making techniques then and now. Well done for it's time. Decent photography, excellent character development.
