    Endless entertainment, insight, relevance to today's politics.

    Hard to put down. Well-developed characters. Insight to how Romans took control of Europe thru its Catholic Church. Understand better why everyone wanted to leave Britain. Clever handling of politics and challenging lifestyle. Great story.

    Real history- from the view of fictional characters

    Well written..but not recommended for preteen readers because some abuse and violence gets a bit detailed.

    Ken Follett does it again

    This is a good book following up on his previous book, Pillars of the Earth. His style is captivating with the development of his characters believable and human, particularly for the period. It is well worth reading. He has me hooked on his books.
