    As advertised, NOS in great condition shipped in the original factory anti-static wrappers. Tested as expected for NOS. They work well. Good packing. Shipping the drives, however, was a little slow: Paid for the drives on Sep 30th, tracking # became available on Oct 8th & actually shipped on Oct 9th. Thus 9 days to actually deliver the package to the carrier. Received the package at my end on Oct 22nd. Thus over 3 weeks from the Sep 30th payment. HAPPY TO GET THEM! Thanks!

    Not as fast as SSD, but close

    LeBron is dramatically faster than a standard hard drive with platters. I removed my old drive, image did onto this drive, and had the thing running inside of an hour. Strike has a considerable solid-state cash, with a standard platter Drive behind it. You can find write-ups of how this technology works on the web. I'll confirm that it is visibly faster than a standard hard drive. What I mean by that, is that I can see applications run faster on the desktop - bearings less delay between clicking on and icon and having the computer respond. Also, the operating system boots faster. I didn't time it, so I don't have details. But, it's surprising how fast it comes up after boot, considering that I'm used to a standard hard drive.     Seagate 1TB FireCuda Hybrid Gaming SSHD - SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache Installation & Performance

    This new Seagate 1 TB FireCuda Hybrid SSHD was easy to physically install in the computer at my second hard drive location. First of course I removed my second hard drive prior to installing the Fire Cuda SSHD. At this point I made a total reproduction copy of the "C" hard drive using the Seagate software found on their site for this purpose, Then I removed the original hard drive and installed the newly loaded FireCuda in the "C" drive position, plus installed the second hard drive back into its original position. Turned on the computer and it worked correctly right from turn on. Started up various programs that I often use in order to teach the new hard drive what information to store in the SS portion of the drive. After a few days of using the computer it continued to increase ...

    Great Value

    . Installed this hard drive and I was surprised how quiet it was and and fast it worked for a Hybrid. I was very pleased wit it and would recommend this to anyone who cannot afford a full Solid State Drive as I. It worked very well transferring files. I would defiantly buy another if needed.

    So Far, So Good!

    My 240 gb SSD filled up and I was stuck! Found this as a great deal on eBay and went for it. I've installed it and had it running for a solid week now, with no issues. It's like I was never down. This is on my iMac.
