Initially it proved almost impossible to get an acceptable vswr until I noticed the frequency range is 26.8 to 27.6Mhz which is the EU band. The UK CB range STARTS at 27.6Mhz! When I chopped 6mm off the bottom of the wire antenna where it goes into the mount I was able to tune the vswr to about 1.5 at channel 1 and 40 and barely moving the needle at ch6 to 15. Happy bunny!
