Although the lights for the power button and thunderbolt on the front of my Pegasus don’t come on now. But that’s not really a problem. There are a few extra wires and connectors than I was expecting but everything is working without connecting them to anything. So I’m happy. The support people at Promise Technologies suggested I purchase a whole new machine for $3200AUD. This was so much cheaper at $200AUD.

I promptly ordered it, installed it and my R8 is back alive and running perfectly! Great seller!
