The entry level Magellan RoadMate vehicle GPS features a 3.5 inch, 262K color display, a rechargeable lithium-ion battery (1100 mAh), a 512MB memory card, and an SD card slot. One touch of the POI icon will implement a search for a store or address specs, and the night vision display makes driving safer after dark.The Magellan RoadMate systems have the SmartDetour trademarked option that alerts the driver if there is a roadblock or a traffic jam in the vicinity.     Great

    Thinking it would be easier to see, I bought a large screen one, another brand. It was useless. Not only a gps it came with memory dedicated to music, photos, games and other stuff. Not mentioned in the ad. It was slow and hard to use junk. I threw it away. Then, I bought this one because I had an inexpensive Magellan for years and it was great. I realize the screen size isn't important now. This one is even better. Easy to navigate with, excellent map graphics make it easy to see. Simple to enter addresses. It's all you need. Also it isn't blocking the windshield and isn't so heavy it falls off. I'd buy this again. Fast and easy to read. The best. I'd recommend it.

    short life

    I bought this for my husband and he used it a total of three times and now the thing wont turn on, tried charging for a day plus but it still acts as if its not getting any power. i have tried everything to get the thing working again but it wont turn on. if you want something that will last a long time i can tell you this is probably not the ideal product for you.

    Magellan GPS

    Previously had one loved it. This one is small and compact and actually put it in my pocket or coat. Maps are very accurate have used it several times already works perfectly!

    Lemon

    Device "froze" (locked in on one location with no ability to update) often and was simply non-functional. It would display a map with no directions. Ultimately, frustrating, unreliable and worthless.
