Robin Hood rides again!
Best recording of the classic series I have seen to date. I was so impressed with this Very well done Black and White TV show from the 50's. It still plays very well with an excellent cast and story lines, Watched as a child and found this super low priced set and gladly did not pass up the chance to see it all again for the first time in over 60 years. Buy it, I promise you will not regret this purchase, it is a very good copy that plays well. The sets and cast are all classic English actors and the sets are superbly filmed for TV shows of that period and in many authentic English sites. Only thing it is missing is subtitles which is helpful in translating the Queen's English into American slang for all us horrid corrupter's of the true English language. Brings Back Memories from my youth
It was great seeing a show that was entertaining me when I was age 6-10. My brother was born in 1956 and he wants me to send it to him. I said no way "Its mine". Boy just like back then, we never really grow up just get more serious. The acting is king of hocky but very Errol Flynn like. I also ordered the 1961 movie which had a lot of the same character actors. The movie was in Color. If you want to show how TV was in the 50's this is a great example. memories
I was 5 years old when the show went off the air. I have childhood memories of watching it with my Dad, who allowed me to set up my Marx Richard Greene Adventures of Robin Hood playset on his bed while we watched. This DVD set takes me back to happy times.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Great back in the 1950's! Still great today!
I watched this as a kid back in the 50's. I still enjoy it! More-so than 99% of the drivel we're subjected to today that is called "entertainment! No gratuitous Sex/nudity! No CGI explosions! Blast from the past
