    saved allot and fixed an annoying surging on/off problem with the blower wheel while running.

    I had a couple problems with the old board. First, no heat, likely a limit or sensing problem. But, more recently, the old board would start the AC and after awhile, the blower wheel would surge on/off rapidly for several minutes before running normally again. I'm guessing it was some sort of relay contactor or something similar. Replacing the board fixed that. I still need to trace the limits on the gas side to find the source of the problem there. The old board gave the error code that said the control needed replaced. The new board gave me the code to tell me a limit is not being made. At least it's a move in the right direction and is not the fault of the board.

    Good description.

    My gas furnace is at least 25 years old. It was removed from one house and re-installed in a remote cabin with a WiFi thermostat. Wanted to stock my shelf with spare parts. This White-Rodgers control board is the exact same part. Mission accomplished! Appreciate the quick delivery too.

    Excellent part, right price, and easy installation

    Well it hot my furnace working properly for the winter. It actually fixed both problems, without the need for any other parts. It was brand new, and cheaper than an estimate of $550, I paid 300 total for the unit and warranty

    Worked great! My furnace gas couldn't turn on, after diagnosis, I believe that the old board was dead. So I bought this. After replacing the old with this board, the problem was gone. Thank you!

    After install the furnace kick on and worked like new.

    Received 50A56-956 upgrade. Had to drill holes for mounting in bracket were old control was located. Bracket that came with new control would not fit in my unit, but, proved to be no problem. All connections were well marked and fit without any jumpers.
