Great Lens for Lumix Camera
I purchased the lens for my Panasonic Lumix and am very impressed so far. When I first got it I could not get the AutoFocus to work. Even went ahead and upgraded my firmware... it still did not work. The solution after doing a bit of research was simple (just mentioning it here as it is not that obvious). The lens has something called a "Manual Focus Cluth". Which is a ring around the middle of the lens, push it back and it changes it to manual, forward to AF. Once I figured it out, the lens is PERFECT. Olympus 12-40 f2.8 Pro bang for buck
great lens, tack sharp, fast focus and as one would guess being f2.8 it is brilliant for low light. Only down side I can find and it is not a big deal, being on the heavy side compared to what I am currently using it does slightly defeat the objective of reducing the size and weight of my kit for travel.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Incredibly fast postage and great price

Great Economically Priced General Purpose Four-Thirds Lens
This is the professional replacement for the the OM-D kit lens. It is fast, brilliantly sharp and well priced. It is as good as my Olympus Premium series (ED) fast primes. Although the primes are a are a little faster at f1.8 and lighter. The only negative thing about this lens is it weights nearly half a kilogram considerable more the the camera body. I suspect OM-D owners will need to make a decision between this lens and the 12-100mm F4.0 IS PRO lens as their general purpose lens. This lens is faster, sharper, smaller and lighter than the 12-100mm so you need to do a lot of telephoto filming to justify the 12-100mm over this lens.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Sharp lens with top quality construction
The lens is sharp from f2.8 upwards. There are plenty of good reviews out there and it lives up to the hype. The colour produced by the lens is good too. The lens is built well and has a very smooth movement which feels very durable as a pro lens should be. The only con is that the 62mm lens filter can be hard to find and that the lens is heavy. Impressive lens

Olympus pro zoom f2.8

Still a awsome lensthat was already intruduced in 2013
