Nice product! Exactly what I was looking for, but...
I like this much better than the one that comes with the varia radar light. It is much more stable, but the one thing I don't like about it is that my leg rubs the side with the tightening screw. I ride with a saddle bag so it is slid down a little lower on the seat post. The only way I see them fixing this is to have two hinges with the tightening screw in the middle towards the tip of the saddle.

The holder that came with the varia is secured with elastic band. After a 30 miles ride I noticed the position had changed. This unit is fastened with screws and has stayed in place after several rides. Feel more confident that the varia will not be dislodged.

This is what Garmin should have included!
This should be standard equipment from Garmin when you order the Varia taillight. But no, they ship it with the bush-league rubber band mounting system. It's a $200 light! Really? Get with it Garmin and provide this as OEM included equipment. This mount is first-class and solid! Include it!!.

Bought Two for Bike and Trike
This item allowed me to fit my 2014 Terra Trike Head Test support and...... The Seat Tube of my road bike And I was worried that the rubber band things would fail. They did not, over several thousand miles of riding and triking.

One On Every Bike
I have one of these on three of my bikes for the older Varia model. Puts the light at the correct angle to face approaching traffic.

Perfect!!!
Bought2 of these so I could quickly use the Varia on any of my bikes. Actually a little easier to install than the mount which came with the Varia.

This mount is essential whether you use the Varia on your road, or mountain bike. It's strong, and secure.

Garmin should supply this as standard
Good quality. Needs a better selection of shims for different SP diameters.

Perfect with one flaw
The only issue I have is that my legs rub on it slightly while pedaling. It's the side with the bolt. If someone made one slightly thinner that is the one I would get. Other than that, it's perfect.

Does the job
If you have second bike and don't want to purchase a second Garmin Varia this does the job. However the price is really high for what you get.
