Great features, sleek look, excellent thermostat
A larger screen Honeywell thermostat was considered before I decided on Nest 3rd gen thermostat. Unfortunately for Honeywell, the Honeywell thermostat didn't get very good rating for connectivity. With Nest thermostat, it gets annoying sometimes that only piece-meal info (e.g. outside weather info, current inside temperature, set temperature, etc.) is displayed. But after a week or two of use after installation, it's the reliability of the thermostat that is more important than the display. Installation was relatively easy; Nest works out a wiring diagram for me to follow. Overall,no buyer's remorse so far!

Great Quality and Convenience
I got one of these for Christmas and had to get one for the other HVAC unit. Very elegant design, very easy to use and so convenient to be able to use the Nest app to control remotely. Also, very cool that it links with Google Home and minis. I can change the temp from the comfort of my bed by giving a verbal command.

Nest 3rd Gen. -- cool technology to go with our new central air (and furnace)
Nest 3rd Gen. -- terrific piece of technology with only a couple of quibbles... Pros: sleek, creative button/dial design and display to access functions including fan control; remote access -- even from work! -- and even greater control with the Nest app. Neat fan, cool-to-dry, other options. Cons: Learn function works, but results are not really what I always want? We are not regular enough in our comings and goings, nor am I the only one who comes and goes (or not) for the Home/Away feature to work. Much easier to simply program what you want (once I figure that out -- at least I know how to cancel Learn feature scheduled events in the App) -- better yet, just fire up the App and set it myself anytime I want! Other significant problem just last night, the Nest Service (online, the App depends upon this!) was not available! Why not put "brains" in the Nest so I can control it locally without the online service?

Great Product
The Google nest thermostat is a great product. It is very heavy duty and made of great material. It is very easy to install and with the app on your smart phone it is easy to set up and control. I have already reduced the amount of energy I am using in the first week. It should save a lot of money. I highly recommend it.

They are very nice
It they provide good performance, specifically if One has the individual sensors for the other rooms. However, it’s not any better than the Snow model, or Nest Smart. In fact, the Nest Smart model it brings outside temperature and some other data when sense motion, but the 3rd Gen. only provides current temperature; in order to prove outside temperature and data the individual must physically touch the thermostat. However, they thermostat does performed well, and matches Stainless Steel appliances.

Great Product for unbelievable price!
Bought this product for about $50 dollars cheaper than most other sites. Was expecting it to not work properly. When it arrived it had all its parts and instructions. Was very easy to install and works like any other Nest Thermostat that i've used before. Great product for a great price! Thanks!

Elegant and sophisticated but yet user friendly thermostat.
Very nice finish on the Stainless Steel, very easy to install and operate, from the unit itself or from the App. The learning feature very convenient as it is the HomeAway. Everything works as advertised. I just paired to a Keen Smart Vent and works great also.

Awesome and quick.
I had the first gen since it came out in 2011. It works on you schedule automatically so you don't have to and can be over written if it does anything you don't like. Our 1st gen finally stated having a battery issue after 10 years. This is a great price for this thermostat. We had our emergency shutoff go out and had to replace it. when this went out it was the last blow to the gen 1 nest battery. I got it running as long as the power stayed on until this one came in. It was fast and even arrived early.

Nest,the Smart 3rd generation thermostat
This is quite a thermostat. Fairly easy to install & program from a person who isn't very handy. Looks great, easy to set and read. In addition to inside temp also gives outside temp & inside humidity.

Must have man gadget!
This is a nice thermostat. It is fairly easy to set up and change the temp. I like the bright colors, red when the heat is on and blue when the AC is running. If the eco mode helps save $ this thermostat will pay for itself over time. Having the ability to access your home temp when you are away is great. Great investment.
