  • Dog Book

Just started to read the book. So far very interesting, plus the price was right. I have been around dogs growing up, and have a few dogs. I am hoping the book will reinforce some of my previous dog training, plus learn some tricks

  • For the beginning dog owner

Although some of the training techniques may not necessarily work for every situation, if nothing else you will gain incredible insight into how the dog mind works. I keep buying this and giving it to friends who adopt new rescues, just to get them off on the right foot. Clearly the Monks are successful not only at raising top-notch GSDs but also rehabilitating all sorts of family canines. I would love to go visit one day and see things in person.

  • Best Dog Training Book

How to be Your Dog’s Best Friend is the best dog training manual for current and future dog owners. Your furry family members will thank you for not personifying their behaviors and better understanding their needs. I also highly recommend The Art if Training Your Puppy.
