Beware !! A Pretty Face Can Hide A Devious Mind
This is an excellent, WB archive edition of a love-hate-murder melodrama. Poor Robert Mitchum. He gets wowed by another pretty face and, as usual, the femme fatale comes with an unacceptable price. She's a rich girl who hates her step-mother. She steals Mitchum's heart away from his regular girl and plots a murder, most foul. It's a great little tale with top-notch actors and direction by Otto Preminger. I recommend it to all, serious movie fans.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Lost Gem
Have heard references to this film, but, the title, at least for me, was vastly misleading. I always dismissed it as a fluff piece, like It's A Wonderful Life, never realizing it was a tragedy. Jean Simmons has always been a favorite, although from another previous generation. Entire cast was effective in their character portrayals.
