    Unfortunately I received a damaged book, the item and the package both were damaged and it was clearly evident its appearance that it happened during transit. The seller was very understanding and gave me a full refund for the damaged book, though it was no fault of their own. Other than the damage, the book was as described, the quality and condition aside from the damaged spot was like new. The cost of the book was reasonable. I would definitely purchase from the seller again.

    Although this book was not as described, with no picture of it in the listing, the seller communicated well and quickly gave me a full refund while letting me keep it. The minimal packaging left the book a bit vulnerable (typical for ThriftBooks), but it did arrive safely and timely. As usual, it’s hit or miss with this seller, but often times you can get great values, and their customer service is always very good. Many other sellers with millions of transactions don’t even communicate.

    Awesome Book

    This is truly a great value for the price. I had this book about 25 years ago, and lost it. Then I saw it in the possession of someone else and I was reminded of how informative that this book is. It was my first book that I read on deliverance. This is not a book to be read by those who are spiritually prepared by the Holy Spirit to read it's content. I pray that GOD will keep you in all your ways with HIS Grace, Mercy, Favor ,and LOVE.

    Many Unanswered Questions

    PIGS IN THE PARLOR is interesting and for most of us, a description of a “ministry” that is almost other worldly. It leaves a lot of questions unanswered, leading one to doubt the information and techniques that it embraces. Much of the information in the book about demons is derived from the experience of the authors and of others in deliverance work. How do we know whether it is reliable? Demons are deceivers. Although one can claim that his experience parallels that of a Bible passage, there is no assurance that he can extrapolate a whole principle about demonology from it, like having to call a demon by name. Why can’t the Gospel itself deliver someone once and for all, so that there is then no more need for a deliverance worker? Indeed, are the Hammonds and those like them a ...

    Older book on the subject of enemy forces

    There are definite things in here that are really helpful and some that are dated and/or controversial. The authors (husband and wife team) have obviously ministered in this area and been successful but some of the content is based on their interpretation and not necessarily God's absolute truth.

    An effective deliverance manual.

    I have owned this book for years and I highly recommend it to those who would like to understand the spirit realm and how to apply the Scriptures to every situation. The Hammonds truly blessed the Church when they wrote this book. It is a useful tool to set the captives free.

    Best info for defeating the dark kingdom's havoc in your life and others

    This book was used so mightily in my life by teaching me that the power and authority of Christ in us will not allow the demonic kingdom to prevail. I learned how to rightly separate the spirit from the person and how to pray. Super effective when paired with faith.
