Girl Crook Romances District Attorney at Christmas!
What a great movie this is, for anytime of the year, despite it being set during the Christmas season! Barbara Stanwyck is as perfect an actress as always, and Fred McMurray matches her acting chops line for line building a believable story of a district attorney and his aid to a 'girl crook' at Christmas time that has unexpected consequences! Awesome directing, awesome filming and awesome characters make this a treat for the whole family! Highly recommended for Barbara Stanwyck and Fred McMurray fans and anyone who wants a Christmas story with more heart!

Best (and most overlooked) Christmas Movie!
Great movie, especially for Christmas time. Beautifully acted story that shows what a loving family -- and also the lack of a loving family -- can have in the type of an adult that a child grows into. Great performances from a fine cast of actors.

Holiday Movie Classic
Stanwyck and McMurray always had good I traction together. This movie is no different. Great acting, great story. Classic movie. Good boy falls for bad girl, bad girl galls for good boy during the Christmas season. Another movie you need for your Classic collection

A Christmas emotional gem!
A great, touching Christmas movie with feel good moments and just the right among of pathos. The black and white medium is correct for this movie.

A Lovely Christmas Story
It's another good Christmas type story but good year round....perhaps a little hokey but a lovely story. The acting is good and the photography is excellent. It's more for the older crowd....very charming, reflects good values, and great compassion.

A nice movie for Christmas!
Pretty light fare, but quite enjoyable. Barbara Stanwyck is fine as always. If your a Beulah Bondi fan as I am, she will not disappoint. Somehow Beulah Bondi has a way of capturing the soul of a moment and making it and the movie special. Such an under-used, under rated actor. Cozy movie for the holidays.

Don't make am like this anymore
Great old film with fabulous ensemble cast. A film which shows failure, redemption and finally love. A truly heart warming story..

DVD was in excellent condition.
The DVD was in excellent shape and I have watched it several times. I really enjoyed the movie and plan to buy more in the future.
