  • A fine capstone to the Night Lords trilogy

No one writes Warhammer Chaos Space Marines better than Aaron Dembski-Bowden, and Void Stalker is a fine ending to his lengthy saga of the Night Lords. While not shirking on the horror of chaos or on the fear-based culture of the Night Lords in particular, Dembski-Bowden is able to show individual Night Lords as complex characters and the vessels containing the Night Lords and their slaves as a functioning, if grim, society, perhaps not all that different from the Imperium. The plot nicely wraps up the threads from the preceding volumes, and has all the action scenes the Warhammer reader requires.
