What great fun. A book that shows you how to create handmade wooden spoons. I read the book, cut myself a wooden blank and created a really nice spoon that I gave away as a present. I often make little wooden things to give away like pens, coasters, bottle corks etc. People are appreciative...but the wooden spoon ( carved from some highly figured wood with wonderful grain patterns.) .......it dazzles them and they rave. Get this book and try some wood spoon carving.

Bunch of BS about spoon carving.
This book is lacking, it’s NOT much on guidance or techniques. I have many other much better books. This is “ philosophy” of spoon carving, don’t buy for instruction.
