A versatile interface with mediocre software.
The Space Mouse Enterprise is not for everyone. It fits a niche market and can improve productivity. Though it's not well documented, the drivers can be altered to customize it's operation for specific programs. The Space Mouse creates a unique driver for each program that you set it up for, and they can be modified to change the way it interfaces with that program. For instance, in Acrobat, I altered the driver so that pushing the knob in zooms in and pulling it out zooms out. Moving the knob side to side and up and down moves the page view. It makes it very easy to mark-up documents and large pages. Likewise, the Space Mouse can be adapted to work with pretty much any program, not just CAD. In regards to the programable buttons, they are limited in functionality. They can be programed for simple keyboard commands, but not macros. It would also be nice if it were possible to assign what's displayed on the LCD screen: it only mimics the keyboard command assigned to that button. I use AutoHotKey scripts as a workaround to provide macro functionality. The Space Mouse should really have a customizable interface like that used for Corsair keyboards: then this would truly be a great product.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Great compliment to the typical mouse!

Apple of my eye titles are silly.
