  • "A Dry White Season" is an ironic discription of the time. The White's still were in control, without a promise.

The packaging was very good, it arrived in perfect condition, on the right time. I had not heard of this movie before reading Peter Mancuso's book on Brando. I am surprised it didn't get more publicity. It illustrates the real feelings involved with the Apartheid in South Africa, and why it had to change. I do recommend this film to those that are interested in the strife of racial history.h

  • Othering the South African Black Man Through Law and Order

Brando's take on social injustices wherever they be in the world always manifest in his characters, and you can't help but be swept away with this performance. The character has completely given himself to his client, followed by a shame, a sort of self indignity, to the world at large as the hands of the brutal SA, apartheid authority, have no restraint when it comes to 'othering' the South African black man, whether through the court of law, or through clandestine, para-military units, and assassination.

  • Old, but gold. An important movie in its day, and historically significant.

A memorable story about the atrocities of apartheid in South Africa. Good performances by the cast, especially Marlon Brando, all-time master of the screen.
