Good Product, but Too Expensive.
The unit works well, but costs way too much for what it does. Also, the alarm on it can not be turned off, so if you use it to operate a sump pump, the alarm rings every time it pumps water. As just a water sensor it is great. Also comes with an option to alarm you when the battery is getting low. I have used them off and on for 5 years to temporarily operate sump pumps whose floats have failed. Best used in infrequent places of water leak, but you want to know ASAP when the area does leak.

Electronic sump pump control switch
Prevents sump pump from running in short bursts and overusing float switch. Extends working life of pumps. Have found more reasonable price when available in local supply stores.

this is my second unit ......the leads that go into the water are not trustworthy..formation of gunk cost me dearly.....but i took the info off the ol
old unit for back up.......I had 5.5 inches of water in our basement when I went down to the computer.....now I have to maintain it daily.....not the best situation.

If bought around 65$, good. Will last a year. Ace sells it for 95$
